Rainforest
Cafe Niagara Falls
what you need to know about
rainforest cafe niagara falls...
One of the landmarks among Niagara Falls restaurants is the Rainforest
Cafe, a "wild place to shop and eat", conveniently located at the
entrance of the Clifton Hill
tourist
district.
 Before
you step into the madness of kid's fun, Clifton
Hill, take an hour or two for great
dining
experience.
Behind the Sheraton
hotel,
under the
80-foot volcano, there is one of the "must to try"
family restaurants, Rainforest Cafe Niagara Falls.
Right before you enter the restaurant there is an arcade area (great
for
kids and their dads), and a gift shop area.
The gift shop is full of themed merchandise; pretty neat,
expensive and
quite tempting.

Be prepared
to wait. You will find many people,
with kids and strollers all over the place, waiting in a line. At
the
entrance of the restaurant, a "passport" will be handed to you, and one
of the friendly
staff will escort you to your table.
Like in many Niagara Falls restaurants waiting in a line
happens often.
And there is a reason for that. 12 million people, from
all over the world are visiting Niagara Falls every year.
You won't be bored while waiting,
because you will admire the restaurant setup with a huge aquarium of
colorful tropical fishes and sharks.
 Upon
entering this wonderful and weird world
of Rainforest, you will find yourself surrounded by sights and
sounds which give you an impression being in the middle of the
jungle.
Shooting stars on the ceiling, vines all over you,
butterflies, and waterfalls are there for your impression.

Animatronic
gorrilas, snakes, elephants, wild cats, will entertain you with their
antics at regular intervals.
The best seats are the ones close to the fish
aquariums and animatronic animals. They are
fascinating, and your kids will never be bored.
Right
there, you will know that among all Family
Niagara
Falls Restaurants,
you have chosen the right one.
And probably, your kids will beg you
tomorrow, to go back.
The menu in Rainforest Cafe Niagara Falls is family friendly with
a good selection of
salads, sandwiches, pastas, pizzas and tasty deserts.
In the middle of your meal (you will be warned ahead of time), the
lights will dim and flash and you will hear thunder. This is
a simulation of
thunderstorm that occurs every thirty minutes, utilizing simulated
rain, flashing lights and high-powered
subwoofers for lightning and thunder. It is impressive, and all the
kids will be
delighted.
There is also a "sky" on part of the ceiling that glows bluish and has
twinkling stars on it. This is really gorgeous, and enhances the
atmosphere and your dining experience, wonderfully.
It is worth going there. Not too expensive, if you consider you are in
one of the greatest attractions in the world, Niagara Falls.
Do we recommend it? Yes.
