One of the best things we experienced here, either as a couple or as a family is their top notch service.
I know that the Oakes hotel is not a super luxurious, like ultra popular five stars Hilton or Marriott with perfect design, or Embassy with high class suites, but it doesn’t have to be. How many stars the hotel has, or its perfect design, are not the only important elements when selecting the right hotel.
Have in mind that The Oakes hotel is also high class hotel but with very affordable accommodation.

Our experience with The Oakes Niagara Falls Hotel
A while ago, me and my wife started searching for the hotel in Niagara Falls and for the best hotel deals and packages. The right hotel had to include a decent accommodation, and a good price.We knew that for the Fallsview room in a hotel near Niagara Falls, we had to pay a lot. So we said, street view is still ok as long as the hotel is clean and has a nice accommodation. We will have a closer look of Niagara Falls on our tour through the city and while visiting parks and attractions.
We chose the Oakes Niagara Falls Hotel...
We stayed at the Oakes hotel few times, and every time we had a nice surprise. That showed us and to our guests what is the truly Canadian hospitality, great service and how business needs to be run.

So we went to the Oakes Niagara Falls, checked in, took our keys and went to our room. We didn’t pay attention where the room is.
When we opened the door ... WOW!
An awesome, huge and very bright room with the glassed window, from floor to the ceiling, and spectacular view of the mighty Niagara Falls, right there, in front of us.
We were so surprised and stunned with the scenery. The amazing sight was a perfect beginning of the romantic getaway.

What a feeling, lying in the bed, and just outside, underneath you, gorges Niagara, with a spectacular panorama.
So, thanks to the Oakes hotel staff, we had a great stay…
Another Oakes hotel experience
A few months after, the Oakes hotel again. Of course, where else. Previous stay and experience were great recommendation.
This time, we went there with our friends and their kid. They came from Europe, so we decided to give them Canadian best and Niagara Falls experience.
We booked the Oakes hotel, with a standard room and two double beds, very clean and affordable, enough for us.
We went through the same checking-in procedure...
Imagine, the doors are opening, and instead of a standard room, a breathtaking suite, with two separate bedrooms, astonishing view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, marble everywhere, large bathroom with Jacuzzi.

Our friends almost started crying, telling us that this is the best present they ever had, and they never had a dream of something like this.
We were surprised but we didn’t say anything, we wanted to keep the little secret for us. Why to ruin the moment.
We took the cameras and started recording the breathtaking scenery.

What surrounds The Oakes Hotel
The Oakes hotel is one of the several hotels near Niagara Falls, located on the Fallsview Boulevard, the main tourist district. Fallsview Casino is right next door, Embassy Suites with KEG, Marriott and Minolta Tower as well.Great attractions are nearby, Marineland only 5min. away. Just below, is the main attraction area, Horseshoe Falls and Journey Behind The Falls.
Skylon tower and IMAX Theater are a block away, so everything you need is there... some great restaurants also.

The Oakes Hotel is less than 20min (2km) away from the Clifton Hill where the main entertainment is... another Casino, some restaurants, like Planet Hollywood and Rainforest Cafe.
A few steps outside the hotel is where you can dine. If you like casually ambiance, you can eat at the Applebee’s on site or Remington’s of Niagara with steaks and seafood dish.

A good thing for us was that smoking is not permitted in the guestrooms, so every room was nicely clean and scented.
It is a quiet area, so I would recommend it for families and couples. For the best experience ask for the upper room. That will give you full joy and
even better view.
The price is very affordable for what you are getting in return. There is a charge for a parking spot, but it is cheaper than the parking by the Falls.
If you are planning to stay at the Oakes Niagara Falls hotel you will find a huge difference in prices, depend on the season and day you are booking. It can be from $70 CAN (March to May), and up to $200 CAN during the summer time and on weekends.
