Romantic, Family and Casual Niagara Falls Restaurants

One is for sure. With over 500 Niagara Falls Restaurants available to you, you are confused. Just scan the horizon and you will see familiar logos everywhere. Most of the restaurants are concentrated in Niagara Falls Canada, along with The Best Niagara Attractions and great luxury hotels.

Where to eat?

There are so many great and tasty cuisines in Niagara region.

In the middle of the tourist area, Cliffton Hill, there are dozens of fast food restaurants, theme restaurants with casual and family ambiance. And they are tempted. And they are world known.

It appears that almost every North-American fast food franchise restaurant is in or around Niagara Falls.

Resist the urge for a quick bite, even if you hungry. Maybe a cozy restaurant with a great meal and unforgettable experience is only steps away. So be prepared. One of life's greatest pleasures, dining out, in the place like this, has to be something special.

Our suggestion is to plan ahead, be familiar with a Niagara Falls Tourist Guide, or just ask at the reception of your hotel and find the restaurant that meets your needs and desires.

If you book one of the many Vacation Packages, almost every package has a dining option in one of the hotel's restaurants.

Family Niagara Falls Restaurants

If you are coming with a family, it is understandable that you don't have time to look around and check all the restaurants.

Such a world known place, Niagara Falls, is home to many of the World's famous chain restaurants, like Planet Hollywood, Rainforest Cafe, HardRock Cafe, The KEG restaurant...

Majority of these chain restaurants are meant to be casual or family Niagara Falls Restaurants. They are located only 20 min. from waterfalls.

For us, Rainforest Cafe is always a nice place to go. Because of its jungle atmosphere and setting, it is so amusing for kids. And, it is situated in the main tourist district; only 15 min by walk, from the greatest attraction here, Niagara waterfalls.
My favorite features are aquariums with sharks and variety of sea fishes.

Not necessarily that you will be amazed with a food, but these restaurants are small attractions that are fun to visit.
While enjoying your meal you might recognize something familiar around you, that you already have seen it on TV or in the movies.

Romantic Niagara Falls Dining

There is one group of Niagara Falls restaurants that deserves special attention. You can enjoy leisurely your dinner by candlelight as you marvel at the rainbow colors of the illuminated Niagara Falls at night.

Some of these restaurants are located high above the ground in Skylon Tower and Minolta Tower, and in the luxury hotels like Hilton's Watermark, Marriott's Terrapin Grille, Embassy's KEG, all of them overlooking Niagara Falls. Incredible view is guaranteed there, food....well, you have to try.

They also include excellent restaurants in Niagara's wine country and in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake town. It is great having a lunch in a shady terrace, with lush vineyards spread out around you.
The atmosphere, ambiance and sight define these restaurants as Romantic Niagara Falls Restaurants.

Here is suggestion how to enhance good Niagara Falls Dining event. Try to catch the evening when the Fireworks is scheduled. That gives a flair and charm to these special moments.

Niagara region is famous for its wine, especially famous Niagara "Ice Wine". Ice wine is officially classed as a dessert wine. Ice wine is a truly sensational experience for the palate. If you like wines, you won't make a mistake ordering one. For exceptional value try a late harvest wine.

Casual Niagara Falls Restaurants are places where ambiance is friendly and relaxed, and if you don't want to dress up, here you go.
Casual Restaurants are especially good during the day, for lunch, after long walk and visiting various attractions.

Wherever you go, dinning out doesn't have to be expensive.
But, take into account that meals are subject to 14% sales tax.
Tipping is left to your discretion.

During the high season, from May to October, opening hours are longer, but during the winter time some restaurants will close one or more days a week. To avoid disappointment call ahead.
