Beautiful Niagara River and its rapids

rapids
To
avoid hassle, be there at least 30 min before departing. You need some
time for registration, to change your clothes and do safety orientation
and briefing. Otherwise, your reservation might be moved to another
available time. Your safety comes first.
There are some sections in Niagara River where the rapids are high and furious. The Jet
boat
reaches the full power there, to conquer the rapids...
...and
you... Soaked, with water up to your waist, and almost not able to breathe... because there is nothing else but the mist.
There will be a few feet waves that are crashing on top of you. You
will feel like someone dropped a swimming pool on you.
The next moment, you are seating in the boat up to your knees in water.
The
Whirlpool is the furthest spot you will visit. You cannot go further,
because there are some class six whitewater rapids. That is to
dangerous, even for such a powerful boat.

This
amazing Niagara Falls attraction is not recommended for people with
health problems (including back problems, neck injury, weak heart…).
Don’t even consider it.
The
staff is great and friendly. They are there for your safety. 15 years
of experience and thousands of passengers are giving them credibility.
At the end of the trip they will offer you a professional picture, of
you, in the running boat, somewhere in the Niagara rapids.
The cost of the picture is $10 CAN per person.

Jet Boat Attraction Tips
During
the Jet Boat ride, you might be busy with the excitement, but pay attention on
the surrounding. The scenery is amazing. The boat is running with a
speed of almost 100km/h, through the gorge, made of high stone canyon
walls and through the high class rapids.
In order to have the full blast and memorable experience the best place
is
second row in the middle.
Glasses and hat (or visor) and waterproof cameras are allowed. Off
course they want you to capture this moment. It is awesome.
Other items are left on the shore.
For your convenience do the reservation upfront. If you are
coming with kids, they have to be at least 4 years old.
You can even save some money if you book through the web site. It is
$10 CAN off, per person.
If it is cold outside passengers are offered a special gear, wool
sweater, splash suit and poncho, to keep people warm.
If
you don’t appreciate being wet, and would like to have the same
trip, The Jet Dome is yours best bet. The Jet Dome departs
daily
from Niagara-on-the-Lake as well as the Niagara Glen (during June, July
and August).
Jet Dome docked
The windows
on Jet Dome are open to have an extraordinary view of the
Gorge, river and the surrounding.
But when the Jet Dome goes through the White Water, the windows are
closed so everybody can stay dry.
The
advantage of this boat is that you won’t be wet after the ride.
That
gives you an opportunity to use your camcorder to record this trip.
You have to tell stories and show captured moments to others. They will
be thrilled to hear your Niagara Falls adventure.
Jet Dome makes its way through
the Niagara Rapids
The
Jet boat tour will offer you great 1hr trip down river from the falls.
You will travel up river and into the Niagara Gorge, then the boat goes
into the famous whirlpool and then goes back, through Devils rapids.
The river guide will commentate interesting details. Like with other
great Niagara Falls attractions,
you will make tons of awesome pictures.
I am a big fan of such adventures and I am pretty sure that you will
like this ride. I highly recommend it.
Enjoy!
Beautiful scenery, a view worth
every penny
How much
does it cost?
