Marineland
Niagara Falls
Amusement park and Aquarium
Review
of the best Niagara Falls attractions with pictures
Explore Marineland, Amusement Park and Aquarium
Marineland Niagara Falls is a great family amusement park and
aquarium, and among the best Niagara Falls and Ontario attractions.
Marineland is one of the few theme parks that offers a full day fun and
is very popular among kids.
Marineland is the attraction, unique by itself and requires lots of
time, to see and
experience majority of the shows and exciting rides.
This is why some advance planning may be required.

Visiting
Marineland Niagara Falls
When visiting Marineland theme park, bring
comfortable shoes and light clothes, sunscreen and a hat (if it is
hot outside). There is a lot of walking in front of you.
If you are visiting Marineland Niagara Falls with smaller kids, and you
forgot a
stroller or wagon, don't worry. There is a limited number of
strollers available so be there early.
The
closest
hotels where you can stay are only a mile away, like Embassy, Marriott, Hilton, The Oakes...
Many
of these luxurious hotels are offering great Niagara Falls vacation packages,
where Marineland is one of the few family
getaways that provides fun and
entertainment for the whole
family.
Vacation
getaways are a good bargain, since they offer deals for many
other Niagara
Falls
attractions, including: Maid
of the Mist, and Journey
Behind the Falls.
Tips when visiting Marineland
Niagara Falls
It is good
to know that you can bring your own food and drinks in the
Marineland park. Saving money
is a good idea, so there is more for other activities.
We
personally prefer open areas, like picnic areas and parks, where you
can eat and
enjoy the
scenery and nature.
Good, tasty homemade food, blanket on a green
carpet, fresh air and nice company is always better than any
restaurant.
Marineland Niagara Falls has neat picnic areas with tables, but before
going there;
check
out the map for a location and the best spots.
Be aware
that there are some restrictions for kids, like height
requirement. Good idea is to check it out online or at the premise.
Also, you cannot, for safety reasons, ride a bike, scooter and roller
blades inside the park.
Marineland
Niagara Falls opens the door for tourists, in May, and is
open from 10am
till nightfall. Tickets have to be purchased before 5pm (6pm on
weekends).
How
to save on tickets for Marineland theme park
Marineland has a great deal where you can enjoy unlimited admission to
the park’s attractions. If you purchase an admission ticket to the park
and pay $5 CAN more, you can visit
Marineland as many times as you want, for the full season, which ends
in October.
Ask staff, for the discount pass, Marineland's
Fun Card Season Pass, it is worth it.
The price is in a range of $38 CAN, for children 5-9 years of age is
approx. $30 CAN. Tickets for kids under 5 years of age are free.
To be honest, I haven’t seen recently, of all Niagara Falls
attractions,
such a good deal.
What
to see at Marineland theme park
Sea
Lions show in Marineland
Once inside the Marineland theme park, I
definitely suggest The
King Waldorf Stadium show, which you
can see
through the day. You can seat wherever you fill comfortable, but you
cannot enter once
the show starts. The show runs for 30min.
Lovely dolphins are making a great performance. They will
show you so many tricks, astonishing flips and high flying bows.

The funniest
show in Marineland is the seal performance.
You will have so much laugh, so it is a must to see.
One of the kid's favorite show is always a Killer Whale show, at Friendship Cove.
You will be amazed seeing how they are jumping to incredible
heights. Don’t miss it. There is additional charge, $8 CAN.
If you are using walkways, below the water’s surface, you can
enter the enchanting world of whales.

At the kiosk
at Arctic
Cove you can buy tickets and have unbelievable
experience feeding and touching Beluga
Whales. They
are the most unique looking whales.
Beluga Whales are very friendly and playful mammals. Their appearance
is interesting as they turn to a specific white color, as they age.

The Arctic
cove is consisted of three pools, connected to each other,
designed to reflect their ocean environment.
After the water attractions, take your kids where they can enjoy in
feeding the fish, touching and feeding deer, watching black bears and
elks. Marineland is perfect spot where you can explore and be in touch
with
wildlife.
Marineland
Niagara Falls and thrilling rides
After you are done with the animal show, it is
the time to challenge
your excitement with the amusement rides. Marineland has a huge
amusement
park, with thrilling rides for all ages, including the world's largest
steel roller
coaster, Dragon Mountain,
and the world's highest triple tower ride,
Sky Screamer.
Younger
kids will have a blast, and enjoy every minute.
Teenagers and older,
who had experienced rides in other specialized amusement parks, will
not be
that excited.
The best
rides for older kids and adults
are:
- Topple Tower (48” height requirement)
- Sky Screamer – the world’s highest triple tower
ride (48” height
requirement)
- Dragon Mountain roller coaster - the world’s
largest steel roller
coaster (48” height requirement)

Food and
leisure in
and around Marineland Niagara Falls
If you are
hungry there is a restaurant next to the King Waldorf
Stadium. There are lots of seating available, food is OK
with
reasonable prices, but
not
that healthy. It is always a good idea,
to
bring your own food or to check out one of many good Niagara Falls
restaurants.
Whether you are looking for a family friendly restaurant or something a
bit cozier, you will find it maybe a few blocks away.
... or maybe a casual dining in one of the world's recognized chain
restaurants.
On the bank of the Welland River, there is a campground,
with grassy
meadows and lots of shades. You can rent a tent for $35 CAN, for 4
people and have a peaceful, relaxing day. Fishing, walking,
golfing, playing with kids, is always an option if you are
done
with shows.
