Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls is a first class family and kids-friendly resort and water park, conveniently located near the intersection of Niagara Parkway and Victoria Ave. and 5 min drive from the Horseshoe Falls.

This great Niagara Falls water park was among the top winners in the Canadian Tourism industry, for tourism excellence.

While you are approaching the Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls water park and visiting the resort, Northwoods setting, ambiance and rustic themed rooms will make you feel that an amazing experience is about to come.

The water park has over 100 000 sq ft. of space where 2.5 mil. liters of water is used for all kinds of fun and entertainment, like 13 water-slides with 4 kiddies' slides and 10 pools.

Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls is recommended for families with young children. It offers everything you need, from the theme based accommodation, convenient eateries, clean rooms to the variety of amusement sites.

Our recommendation is to book a room at the water park level. The advantage of having a room there is that you can drive to the room, load and unload your bags right from your car, and save time and avoid hassle while waiting for the elevators with the impatient kids.

Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls Advantages

The great thing with Great Wolf Resorts is its exclusivity for their guests where you don't have to deal with the long lineups and crowd.

Kids over 13 may be in the water park without parental supervision, and you without worry, as there are over 100 lifeguards on the duty.

The water park is very clean, and chlorine (used to fight bacteria in the pool) is not too strong. Ultra violet purification technology is used to minimize noxious effect of chemical used in the pools.

And they claim that they are in 5% of resort hotels in cleanliness, measured by guests.

At the reception, once you check-in, you will receive a wristband that can be used as a key to your room, or as a payment option. Wristband is very convenient for your kids as well, where you can load some money onto it and manage kids' spending. No need to carry a wallet or keys.

Park pass is good until 9pm any day.

The five story lobby with a beautiful stone fireplace, hand crafted furniture is the meeting place for kids at the "Story time" performance.

Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls disadvantage is the meal price (read expensive) and average / low quality and variety of food.

Our recommendation is to check out other Niagara Falls restaurants, as there are so many different cuisines and for any savor.

The first thing you will hear when you enter this Niagara Falls indoor water park, is all kind of noise; fans blowing, water splashing, kids shrieking, music playing, whistles blowing ... exciting.

Don't forget to bring swimsuits, plastic bag for wet suits, swim goggles, earplugs, flip flops or aqua socks, waterproof swim diapers for kids that are not potty trained. Towels are provided.

Story time is the best for toddlers and young children.
Every night at 8:00pm at Great Forest Friends show, your kids will hear two stories in front of the interactive animals, in the Grand Living Room. Kids need PJs, a blanket and slippers.

Fort Mackenzie is a 4 story tree-house water fort, with 12 levels of water based adventures, with suspension bridges, slides and soaker buckets with a 1000 gal. tipper on the top.

Loon Lagoon is an outdoor pool that features floor geysers and spray features, heated water, water basketball, kids slides ...

Crystal River is actually a lazy river, perfect for mums and dads.

Whirlpool Hot Spas

Rainbow Lake is a huge indoor wave pool running for 5min, with 12min. off.

Elements Spa and Salon

Cub Club is a kid's activity center with lots of crafts to choose.

Wacky Wilderness Mini Golf

Scooops Kid Spa is a Spa just for kids 12 and under.

Iron Horse Fitness Room is a 24h fitness club for adults over 18.

Frog Pond - kids can jump from lily pad to lily pad or use the net above to cross the pool.

Forest friends' show - kids' performance every morning at 10am, in the Grand Living room, with the forest characters like Mother Bear and Raccoon.

Kiddie Slides - safe slides for toddlers 48" in height and under.

Niagara Rapids Run - for visitors over 48" height, there is a family water roller coaster with a 52 ft. vertical drop.

Grizzly, Eagle and Bobcat Falls - 3 tube slides, 1100 ft. in total. Requirement for visitors over 42" height.

Canada Vortex - 40' drop into a cannon bowl, 48" is a min height.

Woolly Mammoth - is the largest slide, where the whole family can slide in one raft.

At Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls water park, there are over 400 suites, with ten styles to choose from, some of them with fireplaces, whirlpools, balconies and/or patios.

Camp Critter Bar and Grille is a campsite theme restaurant, with wooden picnic tables, benches and stools.

Grizzly Rob's Bar, offers drinks and snacks.

Antler Shanty Grub buffet style, available for all three meals. Breakfast is in a range of $12 CAN and dinner buffet around $20. Kids that are 3 and under eat for free.
