Tower Toronto
See
amazing CN Tower pictures... spectacular view of Toronto,
attractions, Lake Ontario and even Niagara
The CN Tower Toronto is the city's most recognized landmark, attraction
seen on
numerous postcards from Toronto. CN Tower with its 553 m in
height is the world's tallest free standing structure. This iconic
structure is also
one of the first Toronto attractions you will visit.
The ride to the CN Tower observation
areas is within a glass-encapsulate elevator that is running outside
with a speed
of 22 km/h. After less than a minute
you will be at the Lookout level or if you purchased tickets, you can
go
even higher, to the Sky Pod.
Visiting CN Tower Toronto
Being
high up, you can see all
of Toronto and
its surrounding. On a clear day you will even see the mist from Niagara
Falls that is over 100 km
away.
Just underneath CN Tower Toronto is the Roger
Centre, many high raised buildings, Toronto islands on the Lake
Ontario,
Toronto island
airport, Harbourfront...
If you are a baseball fan, than check the game schedule and you can
watch it from this unusual place.
There
are four separate levels that you can use at CN
Tower Toronto. For me, the most interesting one is with a
glass-floor room. It took me two visits to encourage myself enough to
stand on it, especially after I saw kids happily jumping on it. I was
afraid of height before, but the experience I had was well worth it.
Looking
straight down, and knowing that between me and the ground is only a
piece of glass... I was so afraid. I felt my stomach will turn, but...
I was happy, excited... Two
thumbs up for this attraction.
The
glass floor and outdoor observation deck are at 342 m, indoor
observation deck is at 346 m, famous revolving restaurant with
constantly changing view is at 351 m and the Sky Pod is at 447m.
If you are brave enough, Sky Pod, the world's highest observation deck
available to the public, is something that you have to try. Astonishing
view is there for you, almost half a kilometer above the ground!
