attractions.
Botanical gardens and Niagara Parks School of Horticulture are also
used as a unique outdoor classroom for students. As a part of the
Niagara Garden trail, you can visit these beautiful gardens free of

Butterfly Conservatory is a large glassed
enclosed structure, a
tropical oasis for butterflies, very bright with lots
of natural light, climate controlled and with a multilevel pathway
through the lush flora world.
In the summer you can enjoy the outdoor butterfly garden that attracts
over 100 species native to Ontario.
During the peak summer time and since there is a limited space
available in the Conservatory; it is not unusual to find a line of
people waiting to enter.

small and huge, flying freely in the Butterfly Conservatory,
providing you colorful and delightful scenery.

Butterfly Attraction in Niagara Falls
Keep in mind, that it is hot inside, around 80 F and very, very humid.
To get the most of this beautiful tropical world, is to walk slowly
without making sudden moves and sounds, pause often and enjoy
the site with a quiet observation.
And don't be surprised if you see butterflies landing on your shirt,
jacket, hair or arms, especially if you are
wearing clothes with bright colors, they will be attracted and land.
You have to be very
cautious, your kids especially, no touching, since these are very
delicate creatures
that can be easily injured.
In one area of the Conservatory, they can be seen going through the
metamorphosis, from where they are starting a new life and joining
other
butterflies.
Niagara Falls is a place where camera is a must, so bring it here as
well and
spend enough time to do some amazing photo shooting. The photo
possibilities are endless.
